Susan Feldman is the co-founder of One Kings Lane and In the Groove, a style destination where she shares her age-defying outfits and shopping tips. Feldman is also our resident style expert here at Who What Wear, and she’s shared everything from the basics she packs for every trip to the style mistakes she won’t repeat. Today, we’ve tapped her to discuss her fall wardrobe—five items she’s adding to zhoosh things up, to be specific.
If you are like me, you have been poring over all the new September issues or diving into all the fall trend reports that are littering the digital magazines. I like to take a moment to survey what’s trending so that I have the lay of the land before going on a shopping spree. After all, research is key to any smart purchase. But now that I’ve taken a look at what’s out there, I know I have already found a number of gorgeous fall clothes that I am coveting, and I have been shopping up a storm.
I just can’t wait for the weather to change so I can start wearing all those fall things. The big question on my mind as fall approaches is, What are those key pieces that will update my current wardrobe so I look fashionable and on-trend without going out and scooping up a whole new wardrobe? For me, these five things—clogs, dark denim, knit dresses, utility jackets, and plaid blazers—are doing the trick.
